Creating a Shared Vision for Post-wildfire Recovery on the Mendocino National Forest

Longtail boat in Thailand What does a healthy, vibrant forest mean to you? The Mendocino National Forest wants to hear about the places and activities you care about most - like camping, off-road riding, hunting, fishing, gathering traditional food or materials, or simply taking care of the land. With this online tool, we would like to hear your input to inform a shared vision for restoration after severe wildfires.

Specifically, we ask you to.
1) Prioritize landscape benefits important to you and identify things that influence your relationship with the Mendocino National Forest (7 minutes to complete).
2) Choose three important places on a map, and tell us a bit about these places (e.g., important benefits you get there, management actions you’d like to see) (7 minutes to complete).
3) Tell us what wildfire strategic actions you think are important (6 minutes complete).
4) Tell us a bit about yourself, so we know if we are hearing lots of different voices (2 minutes to complete).

All the information provided by you and other members of the public will be analyzed and reported back to the public in writing and virtual presentations. To get started click the button below
